Photography has been a part of my life for a long time, but it was always more of a hobby than a career until some of my earliest clients decided to take chances on me. A few years after starting Captured by Jo, I decided to take the plunge to attend a photography retreat in Costa Rica to fuel my creativity and explore new styles. When I got back, I was more committed to making my business succeed and following my passion than ever before.
Some little fun facts about me are that I am 24, a December baby, an eldest daughter, and a music lover through and through. I’m also an early childhood educator, and I love to binge watch my childhood favorites, nap, and snack (especially if ice cream is involved).
I love love in all its forms and throughout all its life phases. In my photography sessions, I notice little things and document them as honestly as I can. I have a deep appreciation for the beauty of the world around me, and I am dedicated to truly understanding and respecting people for who they are. I find joy in others’ success, and I’m passionate about the things and people that I love.
